Erastus Mutegi Baithumbi (Tegi Tegi Garang)

It is with profound sorrow and total disbelief that we announce the passing on of Erastus Mutegi Baithumbi of Solutions Sacco Nkubu, through a tragic road accident along the Meru – Nkubu Road.

Son to Joseph Baithumbi and Josephine Cianyiru. Son-in-law to Henry M’Ruteere and Tripoza Kabiria. Husband to Terry Mutegi of Antubankui Primary School. Father to Fidel Kirimi (Alliance Boys), Collins Mutwiri (St Paul’s Maua) and Joyton Mutethia.

Brother to Lucy Karimi, Catherine Muthoni, Grace Kaari, Eva Wanjiru, Geoffrey Kithinji (KDF), Julius Mutuma, Nancy Murugi, Desmond Murithi and Godfrey Gitiye.

Brother-in-law to Dr. Isaiah Kaberia (Kalamene), Margret Koolo, Pauline Mwathimba. Joel Muthamia, Joyce Kanario and Regina Kaari.

Family, Relatives and Friends are meeting daily at Tea Room Hotel – Maua and at their Athi rural home for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Meru funeral home on Wednesday 8th June, 2022 at 8.00am for funeral service at St. Thomas The Apostle – Athi Catholic Church, starting from 11.00am and burial thereafter at their Athi home.
