It is with humble acceptance of God’s will and with profound sadness that we announce the passing on of Esther Karimi Elias, that occurred on the 9th March, 2022 at Kenyatta National Hospital.

Daughter to the late Jacob M’mugambi and the late Magdalene lgoki.

Wife of the late Elias M’arimi Murungi and mother to Zakaria Karimi, Alice Gaceri, Lucy Nkirote, Jerusha Gatwiri, Stella Riara, Peninah Igoki and Elosy Ngugi.

Sister to the late Julius M’arithi, Francis Ndege, Josphine Wanja and Stepheen Marangu.

Mother-in-law to Jane Wairiuko, Pius Gitonga, Francis Bundi, Justin Mwiti, and Raphael Munene.

Grandmother to Mwirigi, Kinya, Mutwiri, Kathure, Kathomi, Mukami, Muriuki, Wawira, Muthoni, Mugane, Munene, Murimi, Gakii, Kaguri, Mutethia, Nkatha,  Koome, Murugi, Kendi, Cunku and 3 great grandchildren.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Ndamene, Kiamweri and Sagas Hotel -Thika Road.

The cortege leaves Consolata Mission Hospital – Nkubu on 18th March, 2022 at 8.00am followed by a requiem mass at Ndamene Catholic Church from 11.00am.

She will be laid to rest at her farm in Nkubu Ndamene village, Meru County.

2nd Timothy 4:7 “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
