Esther Mwelu Maundu was called to God’s glorious presence on the 29th of August 2019 at Meridian Equator Hospital in Nairobi.

Daughter of the late Mr & Mrs James Ngewa Mutyandia- Nunguni and Mr. Maundu & the late Nthemba-Mukaa. Loving wife of the late Mr Donald Reddy Matheka Maundu and mother of Timothy Mulinge, Winnie Nthemba, James Mainga, Gaye Kanukwa and Titus Maundu. Mother-in-love of Rosemary Mulinge and Hellen Mainga and a loving grandmother of Mandoi, Mwelu and Mwendwa.

Sister of Mases & Priscilla, Prof. Ngewa & Elizabeth, Gideon & Dorothy, Henry & Ruth, Joseph & Zipporah, Florence, Geoffrey & Rachel, Tim & Hellen and Patrick & Penninah. Sister in love of Kingoo & Serah, David & Priscilla, Lazarus & Regina, Sammy & Dorcas, Thomas & Sarah and the late Makali & Felista. Cousin and Auntie of many in the Maundu and Mutyandia family. She was a Teacher, colleague and friend to many.

Funeral/Condolences Meeting will be at Buruburu Baptist Church today 2nd September then All Saints Cathedral from 3rd – 5th of September all at 6.00 pm in Nairobi.

The cortege will leave Nairobi, Montezuma Mortuary, on 7th of September 2019 at 6.30am, to be laid to rest at her farm in Kinyambu, Kibwezi Constituency, Makueni County.

May her soul rest in eternal peace.
