Esther Ngina Mutie
It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Esther Ngina Mutie of Kimutwa Village, Machakos on Sunday, 29th May 2022, after a short illness at Mater Hospital.
Loving wife of the late Mr Samuel Mutie. Caring mother of Agnes Mutinda, Dr. Thomas M. Mutie, Dr Moses Mutie, Oscar Muema, Angela Makumbi, Irene Kamene and Purity Mutie. Mother-in-law to the late Eunice Mbwele, Nancy Mbwele, Doris Kioko, Irene Muema, Leornard Makumbi, Isaac Kyalo and Michael Kiilu.
Daughter of the late Muindu and the late Munyiva. Daughter-in-law of the late Ngondu Mbwele and late Kalondu.
Esther was a sibling of the late Kanini, the late Rebecca, the late Amos, Rose and Susan Nzisa
Aunt to Prof. Phillip Mbithi, Pastor Patrick Mbithi, Eng. Alfred Joel, Onesmus Maweu among others.
Grandmother to Rogers & Prisca Kyalo, Mutie, Laura, Ian, Beutah, Owen, Sam among others. Great grandmother to Shem, Mark and Karani.
The cortege leaves Mater Hospital on Saturday, 4th June 2022 at 8am. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, 4th June 2022 in Kimutwa, Machakos at their family home.

It is of great sorrow to learn the death of Mama Esther Ngina Mutie. Indeed this is the darkest part of life that a family go through. The Bible gives us encouraging hope that we can have for our dead loved ones. John 5:28,29 says, ”Do not be amazed at this for the time is coming when all those in their graves will hear his voice and come out.” The Bible has an assurance of the resurrection of our dead loved ones.
