It is with sorrow and a humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mrs. Esther Nthenya Muthoka (Mrs. Philip) of Nthangu, Wote in Makueni County which occurred Thursday, 9th February 2023.

Daughter to the late Daniel Muasa and the late Rebecca Syokau. Step daughter to Janet Musyawa.

The loving wife to the late Phillip Muthoka Mbuva. Mother to Eunice Nduku, Jacqueline Ndinda, Jane Syokau, Elizabeth Mukulu, Samuel Mbuva, Agnes Mueni and Frida Mwongeli Wanjohi.

Mother-in-law to Charles Ndungu, Michael Alando, Clive Waguthi, Eunice Ngethe -Mbuva and Roy Wanjohi.

Sister to Judah, Benjamin, Kyalo, Elkana, Cornelius, Barnabas, David, the late Stephen, Naomi and Eunice.

Cousin to Joyce, Ruth and many others.

Sister in law to the late Rebecca, Titus, James, Julius, the late Loise, Peter, Everlyn, the late Gibson, the late Wilson, Leah, Zakayo, Charles and Florence.

Grandmother to Danielle, Festus and Philip Ndirangu, Philip and Samuel Alando, Dennise, Abduljalal, Salma, Leila and Zenadine Wanguthi, Maxine, Nathan Daniel Mbuva, Esther Nthenya, Phillip, Estelle,Wanja and Adrian Wanjohi. Great-grandmother to Kyle,Adrian, Shureim, Shadia and Azra.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary on the Friday, 17th February 2023 at 7am for burial at her rural home in Nthangu village, Wote, Makueni County.
