Esther Wambui Gathogo

It is with sorrow and humility that we announce the demise of Esther Wambui Gathogo. She hails from Kiandu village, Unjiru Sub-location, Karundu Location, Tetu Sub-county, Nyeri County.

Daughter to the late Ayub Nderitu and the late Hannah Wanjiru. Daughter-in-law to the late Reuben Wagita and the late Leah Wangari. Wife to Evans Gathogo Wagita.

Mother to Mary Wanjiru, Leah Wangari, Regina Wangui, Reuben Ndirangu, Lucy Nyambura, Margaret Gathoni and Alice Wangechi.

Sister to Nyambura, Guandaru, Wangechi and the late Waiganjo and the late Muhoro.

Mother-in-law to Patrick Mwai, Shadrack Muchiri,George Gathui and Michael Ndu’ng’u.

Grandmother to Esther, Gatere, Gichuki, Assumpta, Evans, Cyprian, Blessings, Vincent, Valeria, Shiku, Joy, Jody, Maxwell, Neemah and Ninette. Aunt to many, friend to many.

Meetings and prayers are taking place daily at her home in Kiandu at 3.00pm.

The cortege will leave Outspan Mortuary on 7th July, 2022 at 8.00am for funeral service Kiandu Catholic Church, at 11.00am and thereafter burial at her home in Kiandu.

Esther, you have been a heroin to the family and a blessing to many. Rest in Peace.
