Esther Wanjiru Muchai

25.5.1969 – 10.11.2022

It is with acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our beloved Esther Wanjiru Muchai which occurred on Thursday, 10th November 2022. Until her death, she was working at Kenya Police Service Headquarters.

Daughter to the late Wilson Muchai Rigii and Joyce Nyakiringa Muchai. Mother to Alex Muchai Wanjiru and Sylvia Nyakiringa Wanjiru. Sister to Lucy Waithera, Damaris Njeri, Josephine Wambui, Onesmus Rigii, Susan Wamaitha, Jane Wanjiku, the late Regina Waitherero, the late Agnes Wanjira and Eunice Wanjeri and grandmother to Marcus and Desmond. She was a cousin and an aunt to many.

Relatives and friends are meeting at her home in Ndumberi near Karunga Primary School every day at 3.00pm for prayers and to make funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta Teaching and Referral Funeral Home at 8.00am on Friday, 18th November 2022. Requiem mass will be held at 11.00am at St. Stephens A.C.K Karunga Church and thereafter burial at their home at Karunga, Ndumberi.
