Eugene Shitakha Shihemi

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing to glory of Eugene Shitakha Shihemi of Bushiangala Village, Ikolomani, Kakamega County on 4th October, 2019 at K.N.H. Nairobi.

Son of the late Stanley Reuben Shihemi and Mama Florence Shihemi. Beloved husband of Catherine Muthoni Kiarie. Son in law of the late Hiram Kiarie Wanjohi and Leah Ngoiri Kiarie of Murang’a County. Loving father of Tamasha Likhutsu Shihemi and Jeremy Stanley Shihemi. Brother of Henry, Aloise, Godrick, Martin, Jackline and Carolyne. Brother in law of Mary Miano, Phylis Kiarie Neal, Sarah Mwangi, Martha Ndung’u, Emma Gitau, Esther Nduta, Njoroge Kiarie, Jane Gaichuhie, Susan Kiarie, Pamela, Lillian Musonye, Cheryl Toroitich and Gary Newby among others. Uncle of Tatiana, Tom, Mutola, Stanley,Tony, Shammah, Shantale, Shanice, Kimora and Tyrese among others. Nephew of the late Elijah Ikutwa, the late Sophie Lubembe, John Luseso, Fridah Mwanje, Hebron Shivachi, the late Peter Musoko, the late Adrian Muganda, the late Joseph Shitakha, Rev. Amata Shitakha and Mary Ambwere.

Friends and relatives are meeting at Holy Family Basilica every evening from 5:30pm and at his home Muchenje Farm, Shisere Sub-location, Ikolomani, Kakamega County. There will he fund-raising on Tuesday 15th October 2019, Holy Family Basilica, St Dominic Hall from 5:30 pm.

A memorial service will be held at CITAM, Valley Road on Thursday, 17th October, 2019 at 11am.
