It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved Eunice Wangari Gitangu. Wife to James Gitangu Mbugua.

Daughter of Joseph Kimani Macharia and Purity Wanjiku Kimani. Daughter-in-law to the late Jacinta Waruiru Luka and the late Lucas Mbugua Kahangara.

Loving mother to Anthony Mbugua, Albert Mbugua and Joan Waruiru.

Sister to the late Simon Ndirangu, Nancy Wambui, Elisaphan Macharia, and Peter Kihara.

Sister-in-law to Salome Mumbi, Joseph Kimemia, Faith Wambui, Joanne Ruguru, Dr. uMngai Kahangara, Immaculate Kahangara, Ndung’u Mbugua, Rose Ndung’u, the late Peter Kibathi, Grace Wairimu, Henry Njuguna, Lucy Kinyua and Edward Wanderi. A cousin, aunty and grandmother to many.

Prayers and funeral arrangements are being held daily at her rural home in Nyamweru Village, Githirioni location, Lari Sub County and Canaan Estate, Theta Ward Juja Sub County, and at Holy Family Basilica Nairobi on 17th and 20th February 2023 from 5.30pm.

The cortege leaves The Aga Khan University Hospital Mortuary on 21st February, 2023 at 7.00am. Funeral and burial service will be held at Nyamweru Village, Githirioni Location, Lari Sub County from 9.00am.
