It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden demise of our Beloved Eva Chepkurui Cherogony Choge on 9th June, 2019.
Wife of the late Hon. Jim Kiptum Choge. Mother of Byron Choge, Dalton Choge, Pahlavi Choge and Tsionne Teklu. Mother In-law of Elizabeth Jerop, & Stephanie Bochere. Grandmother of Carlton Kohli. Daughter of the late PC Francis K. Cherogony and Sarah Cherogony of Kapset Village Bomet County. Sister of Nancy Cherogony, the late Nelly Cherogony, Davis Cherogony, Oscar Cherogony, Ken Cherogony, the late Nora Cherogony, Arabella Khan, the late Peninah Cherogony, Linah Cherogony and Michael Cherogony. Daughter-in-law of the late Hon. Simeon Kiptum Choge, Grace Choge, Sarah Choge, Eglyne Choge, Mr. & Mrs. Jimmy B. Choge, Abdi Choge and Sammy Choge. Sister-in-law of Everlyne Kilimo, Miriam Arum, Benjamin Choge, the late Ibrahim Choge, Jacob Choge, the late David Choge, Esther Chelagat, Daniel Kiprono, Christian Choge, Solomon Kipsase,Ang’ang’a Issac, Elsie Choge, Celyne Choge and James Gorko.
Friends and Family are meeting daily at Upperhill Springs Restaurant (Mara Rd) Nairobi for Funeral arrangements at 6:00pm.
There will be a memorial service held at Montezuma Monalisa funeral home chapel on Thursday 20th June, 2019 at 2.00pm. The cortege Leaves Montezuma Funeral home on Friday 21st June, 2019 for Kapmobon Village, Kapsengere, where she will be laid to rest on Saturday 22nd June, 2019.

Shalum to Eva’s beloved family, I am still shocked at the news that Eva has rested. Eva had been my very dear friend and sister for a number of years when I lived in Eldoret. Please be assured of our prayers at this time and beyond. Praying for the Father of all comfort and compassion to give you all the strength you will need. May He who carried our griefs and sorrows continually pour out His comfort upon you.
