It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce with humble acceptance of God’s will the passing on of our beloved Eva Wanjiku Matu on 25th July, 2023.

Beloved daughter of Paul Muti Kamanathi and the late Nellie Njeri Muti.

Loving wife of Frederick Matu Magondu. Loving mother of Geoffery Magondu, Paul Muti and Lewis Murigu.

Daughter in law to the late Geoffery Magondu and the late Kirigo Magondu.

Sister of the late Esther Njambi Karanja,Victor Mugane, Rosemary Mugure Akweyu, Isabel Gathoni Muikia and Dr. Juliet Njeri.

Sister-in-law to the late LornaWairimu and the late Francis Wachira, Rosalind Mwihaki and Julius Njuguna, the late Grace Gathigia and the late Karuri, Virginia Hiuko, Julius Murigu and Dorcas Njeri, Nicholas Muthee and Rachel Wanjiru.

There will be a memorial service at PCEA Gateway Church, off Northern Bypass, on Sunday 30th July, 2023, starting 3.00pm.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University (KU) Funeral Home, along Thika Road on 1st August, 2023 at 8.00 am, for the funeral service at 10.30am at their home in Gitunduti Village, Magutu Ward, Mathira Constituency, Nyeri County.
