It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Evalina Wangechi Muiruri after a long illness.

Daughter of the late Kangere Kuria and the late Wairimu Kangere.

Wife to the late Francis Muiruri Gachiri. Mother to Lydia Wanjiru (USA), Anne Njeri, Peter Gachiri, Juliana Wanjiru and Stephen Slaw (USA), James Kimani, Catherine Wairimu and Danson Muraguri, the late David Kinuthia and Julia Wangui, Mercy Waithera and Michael Muchemi, and Stephen Kuria. Doting grandmother and great grandmother to many.

Sister to the late Stephen Mwangi, the late Rebecca Gathoni, the late Godfrey Chege, the late Leah Wanjiru, Haniel Muturi and the late Murugi Kangere.

Cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home Kabati on Tuesday, 16th May, 2023 at 08:00am. Funeral service will be held at St. Paul Catholic Church Karega, with the subsequent interment to be held at her Kang’ondu home.
