Evangeline Karimi

It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion of glory of our beloved Mum Evangeline Karimi on the 8th of June 2018.

Daughter of the late Ithiri M’Muthuri and Beatrice Ithiri. Wife of Jackson Gikunda. Mother of Jane Makena (UNHCR Nairobi), Pauline Mukiri (Kianiogu Primary School), Martin Kiambi (Gulf Energy Ltd) and Frankline Matumbi of Kariene, Meru. Mother-in-law of Joachim Tuiyot and Julius Mwebia. Sister of Catherine Kaimuri, Mugambi Ithiri, Ntogaiti Ithiri, Edward Ithiri and Alice Koome. Grandmother of Victor Amani, Joy Mwende, Esther Karimi, Mercy Kinya, Blessing Makena, Ruth Nkatha and Matthew Munene.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Kariene, Meru County for prayers.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Tuesday 19th June 2018 at 6.00am.

Funeral service will take place at St. Mark’s Methodist Church, Kariene at 11.00am and later burial ceremony will take place at her home in Maora village, Kariene, Meru County.
