It is with great sorrow that we announce the untimely passing of beloved Fam Boit, Assistant Governor in Rotary District 9212, which occurred on the morning of 25th April 2021 while admitted at The Nairobi Hospital.

Fam was the adored wife to former Permanent Secretary Solomon Sirma Boit EBS, CBS. Beloved mother to Kemboi Boit, Ida Boit, Sheila Boit and Mercy Boit. She was the daughter of the late Suleiman Tomno and Mariam Kabon of Eldama Ravine. She was a doting grandmother (Gogo Tete) as they fondly referred to her.

She was a dear sister to the late Abdi Tomno and the late Sarah Ongecha, Sophia and Kiprono Ng’otwa, the late Amina Sote, the late Rehema Rono, Hawa and the late Joe Kigen, Hadijah and Josephat Wainaina, Saima Ondimu, Ali Tomno, the late lssa and Faith Tomno, Asha and the late John Waiguru amongst many other brothers and sisters.

Daughter-in-law to the late John and Evaline Boit. Sister-in-law to the late Susan, the late Musa, Tom, Judy, Jonathan, Gladys, Irene and Agnes. In-law to the Bartenges, Keretos, Mongs, Keittanys and Cheruiyots. She was an amazing cousin, niece, auntie, friend and confidant to many.

Funeral mass and interment will be on Saturday 1st May 2021 in Eldama Ravine at 11.00am.

Psalm 91:1 —”He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.”

    You are all inn our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. May the lord give you the strength and comfort.
    It was a great honour to meet your mum (Auntie Fam). She was a kind and very jovial person.
