It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely death of Florence Kelly Mutiso, which occurred on 19th January 2026 at Nairobi Hospital.
She was the daughter of the late D.L.Mutiso Mulila and the late Grace Mutiso, step daughter of the late Martha Mutiso and the late Rebecca Mutiso. She was sister of Priscilla Nthakyo, Rhoda Kyule. Serah Makau, Dorothy Kang’ethe, Josephine Mutiso, Jerinah Makau, George Kathele. Boniface Mutiso, Harrison Mulila, Sophie Mutiso, Edna Muthoka and Neddy Kyalo.
Cousin of the late Mboka Maithya, Mamu Maithya, the late Nthenge among many others.
She was sister-in-law of the late Hon. Johnstone Makau, Stanley Kang’ethe, Paul Munene, Charles Kikuvi, Georgina Kathele, Cecilia Mulila, Mary Boniface among others.
She was aunt of Henry. Alphonce. Faith, the late Nginga,Watson,Tony, Cpt. Mutiso Ciru, the late Mutanu. Kyali, Muthama, Nclungwa, Ray, Joseph. Kasanga., Eric, Joy, Dennis, Dr. Mandela, Kalekye & Dr. Evans, DL Kanu, Dr. Ann Mush, Dr. Eva, Maanzo, Mutiso Kilo, Grace, Faith Zawadi, Mulch, Mumbua, Alphonce & Nyamai Kyule among others.
Family and friends are meeting at MOW Sports Club, South C from Monday 26th to 29th January 2026 from 5:30-7pm for Funeral arrangements.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday 31st January 2026, 11.00am at AIC Musoa, Tulimani ward, Mbooni Constituency, Makueni County. Thereafter the burial will be at her home in Musoa Village.
