It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Francis Mbugua Karichu (Baba Wachira) a.k.a Kitale, who peacefully departed this life to his heavenly abode on 19th June, 2023 at Kijabe Hospital after a short illness.

Husband to Norah Muthoni Mbugua. Father to Evans Wachira Mbugua (E.M.Wachira & Co.Advocates), Rachael Mbugua, Grace Mbugua and Penis Mbugua. Father-in-law to Wamaitha Wachira, Daniel Kung’u and Peter Karanja. Grandfather to many.

Brother to Hannah Wanjiru, Joseph Mwaniki, Frank Thiiru, Grace Njoki, Moffat Buja, Jones Warorua, Keen Mwaura, Humphrey Thuo and the late Peter, Wambui, Mwaura, Njeri, Geoffrey, Nduta, Peninah and Kibuja.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his residence in Maganjo Village, Kabuku, Limuru, from 4:00pm.

The cortege leaves Uphome Funeral Home on Friday, 30th June, 2023 at 8:00am for funeral service at ACK St. John’s Church – Kabuku. Thereafter, interment will be held at his farm in Tigoni, Limuru.
