Appreciation

We, the family of the late Mr. Francis Melkior Faraay wish to give thanks to the Almighty God for the years he gave us a loving and caring husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend.

Following his untimely departure on 18th August 2019, we would like to convey our sincere and heartfelt appreciation to members of our extended family and friends in Kenya and Tanzania for their overwhelming support, encouragement and- prayers, as well as to the Doctors and Nurses who attended to him at both Mater and Coptic hospitals, during his short period of illness.

In particular, we wish to express a special word of gratitude to the Vicar of St. Johns, Happy Valley ACK church, Mrs Loise Mburu and her entire Congregation, the Funeral Committee in Thika, the Vicar and members of St. Patrick’s ACK church lsinya, the Director of the Horticultural Research Institute and staff of KALRO (Kandara), the Rt. Rev Bishop (Ret.) Simon Makundi of Mt. Kilimanjaro Diocese Arusha, Rt. Rev (Ret.) Bishop Peter Njoka of Nairobi and the countless number of friends and relatives who participated in one way or the other during Francis’ final journey.
