Francis Mukele Mukendani

1947 – 2022

We accept God’s will as we sadly announce the demise of Francis Mukele Mukendeni, our father and grandfather of Sibembe village, Bukhayo Central, Nambale sub county, Busia Counuty, who passed away on the 26th February, 2022.

He leaves behind 12 children (7 sons and 5 daughters), 49 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

He was married to Olivah Musinde and the late Scholastics Makokha. The children include Antony Mukele, Marceline Akoth, Pascal Mukele, Roselidah Achieng’, Mary Adhiambo, the late Matthias Aloo, Sylvester Mukele of Nation Media Group, Peter Mukele, Christine Mukele, Priscilla Ondiso, Edwin Mukele, Fredrick Mukele and Justus Mukele.

His grandchildren are Thomas Mukele, Judith Achieng’, Laurine Atsieno, Laurine Were, Joseph Mukele, Daniel Mukele, Salome Achieng’, Sharon Were, Shelvin, Mary Magdaline, Lorna Apiyo, Charles Okello, Martha, Gracious Waridi, Do Santos Mukele, Catherine, Samson, jasmin,Abrahim Otieno among others.

The cortege will leave Butula Mission Mortuary on Friday, the 11th March, 2022 ready for burial on 26th March, 2022.
