Francis Njuguna Kanyingi

24th December 1950 – 16th April 2022

It is with sorrow and in acceptance of God’s perfect will that we announce the death of Eng. Francis Njuguna Kanyingi which occurred on Saturday, 16th April 2022.

Francis Njuguna was the son of the late Daniel Kanyingi Gathendo and late Regina Njeri Kanyingi of Makwa Village, Gatundu North, Kiambu County.

Francis was the loving husband to Teresia Njeri Njuguna. He was the adored father of Sylvia Wairimu Mulinge, Gerald and Zuhra Kanyingi Njuguna,Thomas Ng’ang’a Njuguna, Mary Muthoni Njuguna and Lilian Njoki Njuguna.

Francis was a doting grandfather to Jason Kiema Mulinge, Jasmine Mueni Mulinge, Kayla Njeri Kanyingi, Justin Njuguna Kanyingi,Taji and Jabali Kanyingi and Malia Njeri Ng’ang’a.

Francis was a brother to Timothy Gathendo,Teresia Njoki, the late Philomena Wangari Kamau, the late Joyce Heta Ndung’u, Lucia Wanjiku Githuka and Justina Wanjiru Hinga. He was also a beloved in-law, uncle, cousin and dear friend to many.

Friends and family are meeting at his home in Kiamunyi, Nakuru, starting at 5pm from Monday 17th April to Wednesday 19th April 2022 for prayers.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on Thursday 21st April 2022 at St Augustine Catholic Church in Kiamunyi, Nakuru, starting at 10am.

The funeral will be held on Friday 22nd April 2022 in Makwa village, Gatundu North, Thika.

The cortege will leave Bishop Okoye Funeral Home in Thika at 8:30am for a service at Makwa Primary School at 11am and burial thereafter at the family home.
