It is with profound grief and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Franklin Kirimi Nkanya of Kithithina Timau and Principal Ikawa Secondary School Tharaka/Nithi, through a tragic road accident.

Beloved husband of Lucy Gakii Kirimi. Father of Diana Nkatha, James Karani, Samuel Murithi, Peter Koome and Ann Nkirote. Son of the late Joseph Meme and Agnes Nkuene. Son in-law of late Francis Rutere and Joyce Rutere. Brother of Rose, Lucy, Humphrey, Alfred and Purity. Brother-in-law of MCA Collabo, Evalyne, Harriet, Dinah, Wanja, Nkonge and the late Riungu. Uncle of Collins, Lisa, Linda, Giften, Claire Lin, Makena and Mukami. A grandfather of Muthoni and Mutethia. A cousin, mentor and a teacher of many.

The cortege leaves Nanyuki General Hospital, on Friday 11th October, 2019 at . 8:00am for a funeral service and burial at his home in Karimba village, Kithithina Location, Timau Ward, Meru County.
