Frashia Wangui Gicheru

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden passing on of Frashia Wangui Gicheru which occurred in the afternoon of Friday, 30th December 2022 at Kenyatta National Hospital.

Wife to the late Geoffrey Gicheru Kagiri. Mother to Faith Wakarima and Benard Gitonga, Florence Wanjiru, the late Patrick Kagiri and Joyce Njeri, the late Robert Waweru and Sophia Wangari, Reewei Muturi and Grace Wanjiru, Justus Mugo and Shelmith Wangari.

Grandmother to Maureen Nyambura Gitonga and Morris Nderitu Gitonga, Wendy Wangui Kagiri, Jeff Gicheru Waweru, Wendy Wangui Muturi and Jeff Gicheru Muturi, Jeff Gicheru Mugo (Snr), Jeff Gicheru Mugo anr) and Frashiah Wangui Mugo.

Daughter of the late Simon Waweru Mugo and Mary Wanjiru Kimotho. Sister to Justus Kariuki (Walker), the late Benard Ngure, James Githogori, Jackson Kihiu, Wilson Kinyua and Nancy Gathoni.

Aunt to Carol Kariuki, Gladys Ngure, Judy Githogori, Njoki Kihiu, Waweru Kinyua, Chiru Gathoni and many others.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Friday, 6th January 2023. Interment will take place on the same day at her home in Ithanji Village, Witima Sub-Location, Othaya Sub-County, Nyeri County.
