It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sorrowful demise of our dear Fred Mark Mumia Muganda of Eshikhoni village, Esumeyia Sublocation, West Butsotso location, Kakamega county on 24th December 2021.

Loving husband to Norah Seruya Omuhenje; father to late Caroline Muganda, Hesbon Musungu and Phanice Muganda. Dotting grandfather to Stella Muronji, Peter Ndungu, Faith Auma, Arsen Joshua Muganda, Maverick Mumia and Mike Muganda; a great grandfather to Tracy Namulumba. Son to late Mzee Dickson Muganda Nanzushi of Abamwende clan and Mama Norah Omuronji of Abashisiru clan. Step-son to the late Sarah, Dinah, Sopha, Zainabu and the late Priscilla.

Brother of the late Jane Auma Muganda and Margret Onyango. Step-brother of the late William, Isaac, the late Joshua, Titus, Hon. Joseph Amisi, the late Brown, the late Stephen, Kennedy, the late Zadock, Wycliffe, Suleiman, the late Josiah, Emily, Phyllis, Mary, Sarah, Prisca, Lydia, the late Elizabeth, Janet, Josephine, Doreen, the late Bweya, Dr. Beatrice Muganda, and Catherine.

Son-in-Law of the late Achero Andati and Floice Aswani. Brother-in-law of Wilson Musungu, Prof. Hassan Were, the late Wafula and Owino, the late Ambembo and Dr. Ronald Inyangala, Grace, Sofia, Juliana Elijah, Sopha Eshitoli, the late Doreen Were, the late Damaris Keya, and Consolata Opunde among others. Cousin of many including the late Snr. Chief John Andati, Anzelima, Dr. Keya, Amwayi and Vitalis. He was an uncle to Bonface, Caroline, Nancy, Collins, Rodgers Nabwera and many others.

The cortege leaves Kakamega Funeral Parlour on Tuesday 4th January 2022. The funeral service will be conducted by St. Barnabas ACK and Fred laid to eternal rest on Wednesday 5th January, 2022 at his home in Eshikhoni Village, Kakamega.
