It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Fredrick lraya Mungai, that occurred on 17Th January 2023.

Son to the late Douglas Mungai Njau and the late Pricillah Wanjiku Mungai.

Loving husband to Susan Wairimu and the late Loise Wanjiku. Doting father of Col (Dr) lraya (MOD), Engineer David lraya (KETRACO), Irene Wanjiku (Safaricom), Angela Wanjiku (Cayman Island), Douglas Mungai and Lawson Kanyuge.

Brother to the late Sephen Njau, the late Grace Muthoni, Douglas Mwathi, Mary Wambui, the late Lucy Wangari, Cecilia Njeri, Edward Kimani, David Mwangi, Geoffrey Ndungu and the late Harrison Kuria. Uncle, cousin and grandfather to many.

The family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Eldoret Town, Kimumu Sub-Location from 6.00pm to 9.00pm.

The cortege leaves Eldoret Hospital Memorial home at 9.00am on Tuesday, 24th January 2023 for funeral service at his Eldoret home and final internment at Kiplombe Cemetery.
