Fredrick Maina Gichubi

1951 – 2021

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Fredrick Maina Gichubi, on 28th April 2021.

Son of the late Arthur Gichubi Muchiri and the late Gladys Muthoni Gichubi. Loving husband of Florence Mwihaki Maina (Jericho Market). Loving father of Gladys Muthoni (URAIA Trust), Helen Nyambura (Oryx Energies Kenya Ltd), Arthur Maina (Gichubi’s Construction) and Lillian Gichubi (Absa Kenya).

Brother of James Kihara, the late Rebecca Wambui, Irene Wanyoike, Wilson Muriithi, the late Peterson Muthondu, Duncan Mwangi (Posta), John Gichane and David Murage (USA). Step-brother of Sarah Wambui, Njeri Nduthu, the late Wangui, the late Maina, Peris Wahito, Muthoni Gathee, the late Solomon Mwangi, Wanjiru, Waruthanji and Duncan Gatuiku. A brother-in-law and an uncle to many. Grandfather of Kyle Muchiri, Henry Gathenya and Emma Mwihaki.

Friends and relatives are meeting from Thursday (29th April) to Monday (3rd May) at Jacaranda Estate House A111 and also Arthur’s residence in Ruai from 4.00pm for funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University mortuary on Tuesday 4th May 2021, at 8.00 am for burial at Ndia-ini sub location,Kagongo village, Gakindu Nyeri.
