Fredrick Njeru Gatuku (Gicinga)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Fredrick Njeru Gatuku (Gicinga), on Sunday, 23rd October 2022 at Kenyatta University Referral Hospital, Nairobi.

Beloved son of the late Dishon Gatuku, the late Gladwell Rwamba, the late Elizabeth and Nesta Gatuku. Son-in-law to the late Johanna Munyutu and the late Eunice Runji.

Beloved husband to Dorothy Wanja Njeru. Loving Daddy to Sheila Wawira, Carol Muthoni, Elvis and Edda Wambui Mucangi and Eissie Murugi.

A dotting brother to Kellen and Bishop Samuel Muriithi (FGCK), Rufus and Beatrice Mwaniki, Prof Grace Nyaga, the late Hellen, the late Kivara, Njue, Mbogo, Mwarimu, Gaceru, Eston, Anna, Muriithi, the late Muchiri, Nancy, Mwaniki, Nyamu, the late Mary, Nyaga, Mercy and Njagi.

Brother-in-law to the late Mbogo, the late Zipporah, the late Ablia, the late Nelea, the late Loise, the late Grace, the late Jonathan and Majory Njeru.

A very fond Babu to Ecta, Maya, Ethan, Jeremy, Nethan and many others.

Family and friends are meeting daily from 5.00 pm to 7.00pm at Holy Family Basilica in Nairobi and at his home in Gatunduri, Embu County.

The cortege will leave Gakwegori Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 2022 at 9.00am. The Funeral Service will be held at A.C.K Church – Gatunduri and thereafter he will be laid to rest in his farm in Gatunduri Embu County.

Daddy, we love you and we will miss you. Fare thee well till we meet again!
