It is with profound sadness, but with acceptance to God’s will that we announce the death of Fredrick Simon Mburung’a.

A loving husband of Margaret Mburung’a and Catherine Mburung’a. Son of the late M’Nguthari and the late Marion Naitira. A doting father of Humprey Mburung’a (MoH – Meru), Egra Mburung’a Gakunju (Lenana School), Linet Mburung’a (National Lab), Hilary Muriuki (Kangeta Agrovet), Bridget Mburung’a (Kithirune Girls School), Dennis Mburung’a (USA), Yvonne Mburung’a (UON) and Risper Kagwiria Mburung’a (KU). Father-in-law of Caleb Gakunju, Ann Mugure, Joyce Kathure, Kendi Kaberia, Mwiti and Alexandria Clack Mburung’a.

Brother-in-law of Alex Marete, Mike Marete, Ken Marete; Lucy Gachugu, Dorothy Marete, Irene Marete, the late Grace Marete, the late Zipporah Nthaama, the late Kimitu, Kiogora and Neshrum Mucheni. Uncle of Julius, Mary, Jane, Kanana, Alex, Gituma, Nyambura, Mbuthia and Mercy.

Grandfather of Kibe Gakunju, Mwenda Gakunju, Tracy Mwendwa, Natalie Gakunju, Vallerie Kawira, Kagwirla, Mwende, Kenton, Makena, Zion, Imara and Ziaya Imani.

The cortege leaves Mwendatu funeral home Meru on Saturday the 24th April 2021 at 8:00am for funeral service at his farm adjacent to Ruanguene PCEA Church, Kithoka Meru.
