Gedion Kimutai Ayabei

We are sad to announce the untimely death of Gideon Kimutai Ayabei of the Office of the Deputy President which occurred on 21st March, 2023 at the Kenyatta National Hospital after a short illness.

He was the son of the late Daudi Ayabei and Jane Ayabei.

Husband to Christine Turmet and father to Linet Jerotich,Terry Jeptoo, Shirley Jepngetich, Karen Jepchirchir and Purity Jebet. He was also blessed with two grandsons: Trevor Kiprop and Calvin Kibet.

Gideon was brother to Caroline, Rose, Irene, the late Margaret, the late Nicholas, Dorcas, Flozzy, Lawrence, Shadrack and Maxwell.

He was cousin to Michael, Kipchumba, Micah, Ben, Willy, Rose, Agness among others.

Son in-law to the late Kipsum Turmet and Mrs Rosaline Targok Turmet of Poror Village.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta National Hospital on Wednesday, 5th April, 2023 for burial on the same day at his home Sinende Village, Eldama/Ravine, Koibatek sub-county in Baringo County.
