Geoffrey Wairi (Karanja) Mbuthi

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr. Geoffrey Wairi (Karanja) Mbuthi formerly of TechnoServe Inc on 6 August 2018 after a short illness.

Beloved husband of Esther Wairimu Wairi. Son of the Late Joseph Mbuthi Wairi and Gladys Wanjiku Mbuthi. Brother of Mary Wairimu, the Late Minne Wambui, Jane Burura, George Kimani, Lilian Njeri, Stephen Ndanuko, Perminus Kamochu, and the late Nancy Nduta. Father of Lorna Wairi of Valentine Growers, Charles Mbuthi formerly of Valentine Growers), Daisy Rono of Coop Bank, Allan Gitu, Rev. George Kimani of St. Mary’s ACK Church Syokimau and Maryann Wairi of Garissa County Referral Hospital. Father-in-law of Joash Rono of CBK, Mercy Kimani and Lucy Gitu. Grandfather of Ted, Bill, Linda, Austin, Sharon, Caleb, Joylene, Angela, Jayden, Justin, Sylvia, Olivia among others.

Prayers are being held daily at his home in Kibiku — Ngababa Village, Lower Kabete.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home on Wednesday 15 August 2018 at 9.00am for a Funeral Service at ACK Emmanuel Church Kibiku at 11.00am and thereafter he will be laid to rest at his home in Kibiku on the same day.
