It is with great sorrow and sadness that we announce the passing on of our beloved Snr. Principal – Marigat Boys High School; Mr. George Barsereb Cheptarus of Kapcheberek Village, Tirimionin Sub-location, Saimo location, Baringo North Sub-county, Baringo County, which occurred on 28 November, 2022 at War Memorial Hospital – Nakuru.

Loving husband to Lydia Chesang. Son to Samuel Cheburet and the late Loise Talaa Samuel. Father to Annette Jeruto, Joy Jepkoech and Caleb Kiprop.

Brother to Linah Tarus, Stella Carus, Patrick Tarus, ValentineTarus.

Cousin to many, among them Hellen, Pius, Gilbert, Sarah, Benjamin, Nancy, Veronica, Johnstone, Mary, Grace, Jonathan, Kiplagat, Aengwo, Leah, Egla, Cheboi,Thomas, Zipporah, Rose, Margaret, Alice, Cherutich, Erick, Dinnah, Evans, Chepsoiyo, Joan, Felisters, Kibet, Caroline, Elijah, Christine & Johnstone. Uncle to Chepchumba, Cheptoo, Cherotich, Chebet, Emmanuel, Jonny, Mike, Chumbin, Renny, Kyler, Janice and Natalia.

Son-in-law to the late Chesang Cherono and Kobilo Chesang. Brother-in-law to Reuben, Rebecca, the late Christopher, Evans, the late Benson, Annerline, Sheila, Leonard, Ronnie, the late Micheal and Caroline.

Family and friends are meeting at his home at Kipsyenan, Kampiya Moto, Nakuru County, along recNakuru – Mogotio Road, daily at 3.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave War Memorial Hospital – Nakuru Funeral Home on Saturday, 10th December, 2022 at 9.00am .The burial will take place on the same day at his home in Kipsyenan.
