George Muchene Kirumba

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mr George Muchene Kirumba which occurred on 7th June in New York, USA.

Son of the late Stephen Kirumba Gachene and Salome Njeri Kirumba, step-son of the late Mary Wanjiru Kirumba. Husband of the late Eunice Wanjiru and Barbara Muchene. Father of David Kirumba, the late Simion Gichuhi, the late Susan Kihanya, Rev. Mary Ndiba and Mark Kirumba. Brother of Mrs. Jane Ngugi, Leonard Kirnani, Nancy Wanjiru, Leonard Kamau, Mrs Alice Mithika, the late David Njoroge, Nelly Wairimu, Mrs Elizabeth Mbuthia and Caroline Waithera. Step brother of Margaret Gathegu, Jane Mwando among others.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at the homestead of the late Stephen Kirumba Gachene in Uthiru Marigui-ni for prayers and burial arrangements.

The cortege leaves Montezuma funeral home on Tuesday, 19th June at 9am for a service and burial at Uthiru from 11am.
