George Mwangi Kamawira

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of George Mwangi Kamawira which occurred on 9th September, 2023 at Nakuru Nursing home after a short illness.

He was a son to the late Francis Mbuthia Kamawira and the late Esther Njoki Kamawira of Marmanet Scheme, Laikipia County.

Loving husband to Marysco Wangari and father to Caroline Njoki (UK) and Violet Wanjiru (NCBA, Nairobi).

Brother to Winfred Wamaitha, Catherine Waithera Lenairoshi, Alex Njoroge, Patrick Maina. Step-brother to the late Kenneth Mwangi, the late Bernard Waweru, Richard Maina, Doris Wamaitha, Antony Nderitu, Hellen Kagure, Mwangi and Stanley Maina.

Brother-in-law to; Henry Lenairoshi, Terry Njoroge, Kezia Maina, Paul Maina, Charles Murimi, Simon, Samuel and Tabitha,Ann Mwangi, Purity Waweru, Shelmith Maina. He was an adored uncle and grandfather to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home at Hill Farm (Marmanet Scheme) for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Nyahururu Level 4 Mortuary on Friday, 15th September, 2023 at 8:30am for a requiem mass and burial at his home, Hill Farm (Marmanet Scheme).

May God rest George’s soul in eternal peace.
