George Simon Kamunya Maina

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of George Simon Kamunya Maina on 1st February 2023.

Son of the late Paul Wanyika and the late Tabitha Wanjiru Wanyika.

Loving husband to Grace Wambui Kamunya.

Brother of Naomi Mukui, the late Njoki Ngatia, the late John Gitu, the late Francis Gitu, the late Gladys Wamucii, the late Thomas Mwangi, Hannah Wanjiku,Wanpru Gitata, the late Michael Kimacu, the late Elias Mwangi, Charles Ngatia, Christopher Mathenge and the late John Ngunjiri.

Father of Paul Wanyika, Moses Mungai, Tabitha Wanjiru and Mary Njoki. Grandfather of Nathan Kimacu and the late Jayce Kimacu. Uncle to many and grandfather to many.

Prayers & funeral arrangements are happening daily at his residence Ngong; Zambia from 5.00pm.

There will be a memorial service on Sunday, 5th February 2023 at PCEA Muteero Karen West Parish from 3.00pm.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral home on 8th February 2023 at 8.30am. Funeral service will be held at PCEA Muteero Church, Karen West Parish at 10.00am and there after burial at Kibiko Farm.

He fought a good fight, finished the race and kept the faith.
