‘Gone but will never be forgotten’

It has been three years since you unexpectedly departed from us on the nasty morning of 10th March 2019.

Nonetheless, we will eternally cherish and treasure the beautiful memories of your love, kindness and companionship.

‘Absence makes the heart grow fonder’, is a maxim that you frequently penned in your captivating compositions while at Stely Academy.

May you know, George, that with each passing day, our hearts grow fonder in the reminiscence of the times, triumphs and aspirations that we shared with you.

We recall, with hurting nostalgia, your fascinating narrations, your adoration of engineering, your passion for entrepreneurship, your independence of thought, your affection for the Kinangop Plateau, and your love of the Aberdare Park.

Wanderi, you radiantly shone upon us, and inspired us, in so many ways.

Despite the shortness of your years, we garnered immeasurable lessons from your ethos, ideals and discipline.

Engineer, we choose to regard the tragic events of 10′ March 2019 as being a manifestation of God’s will, in which you transitioned from this troubled world, and went to our heavenly abode.

George, may God’s perpetual light always shine upon you, as you keep watching over us.

Perpetually cherished by: Dad Stephen Kabau; Mum Lydiah Kabau; Brothers Dr Tom Kabau, Tirus Wanyoike and Paul Kabau; Sisters Emma Kabau, Esther Kabau-Wanyoike, Catherine Maina and Margaret Njambi; nieces and nephews; relatives; work colleagues at GE; and your friends.
