George Wanjohi Mwaniki

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the demise of Mr. George Wanjohi Mwaniki of Nairobi County Government.

He was son to Wilson Mwaniki Kanyi and Mrs Alice Wangui Mwaniki of Pop-In Clothing – Othaya. Loving husband of Jenniffer Wangechi and father of Arnold Kagunda. Beloved brother of Jane Wambui Mathenge of Kamwenja Teachers College, the late Gerald Maina, Zachary Ichaura (ZIM), Beatrice Wangari, Rose Wangari, Anthony Ngechu and Jeremy Wachira. Son in-Law of Herman Kagunda and Monica Wangari of Mathioya Muranga. Brother in-law of Joseph Mathenge, Julia Ichaura, Mwinga Gacheru, Grace Ngechu, Rose Gakii, B. Kanyuga, D. Wangui, L. Muthoni, M. Wanjiru, J. Ndegwa and Douglas Chege. He was uncle and cousin to many.

Funeral meetings are being held at Swallow 1 Kahawa West and at his parents Home in Othaya Nyeri County.

Harambee will be held on Wednesday 8th August 2018 at City Hall from 5pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary at 8.30 a.m on Friday 10th August 2018 for burial at his rural home at Gathumbi Village, Iria-ini Ward, Othaya Subcounty at 11.30a.m. on the same day.
