Gerald Kamau Mwangi

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gerald Kamau Mwangi formerly of Nairobi City Council (Planning Department) that occurred on 3rd August,2022 after a short illness, bravely borne.

He was the son of jerusha Mumbi and the late Eliud Mwangi Kamau . Son in law to the late Beatrice Wambui and Andrew Kiritia Maina. Loving husband to Gladys Wangui Kamau formerly Kihuro Primary. Father to Pauline Mumbi (TSC), Eliud Muchiri (Mathioya NG CDF) and Andrew Maina (Kaganjo Bookshop). Father in Love to Baraka Matara (Safaricom Ltd) and Annette Nyambura Muchiri. Dotting grandfather to Adia, Ayden, Alya and Avian Kamau.

Brother to the late Millicent, Rosemary, Ann, Kiago James (Director Mentor Sacco), John, late Jennifer and Tirus.

Brother-in-law to Margaret, Sharon, Martha, Githu,Joyce, Kariuki, Ann, Rosemary, Macharia, late Mwangi, Wanjiku, Wangechi and Freshia. In-law to the larger Daniel Matara and Samuel Wariire Mugi families. Uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Gerald’s home in Kiria-ini Murang’a, Green Coral Hotel (Kiria-ini) and Kimbo-Matangi-ini for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home, Kabati on 16th August 2022 for a funeral service at Kaganjo ACK church at 10am and burial thereafter at his home in Kaganjo, Kiria-ini, Murang’a.
