Gerald Muguiyi Muchiri (Mwarimu)
With humble acceptance of God’s will, we the family of the late Gerald Muguiyi Muchiri announce his death which occurred in Karen Hospital on 27th August 2017 while undergoing treatment for a heart ailment.
Husband of the late Winnie Wakanyi. Brother of Waithera, Kiama, the late Daudi, Wanjiku, Simon, Wairimu and Wangeci. Father of Jane, Sarah, Grace, Irene, Maureen, Wilson and Njeri. Father-in-law of E. Kanyiri, Prof P Kanyari (UoN), K. Mungai, Teresia M. and J. Njogu (SA). Grandfather of Eric, Sophie, Gerald, Jeff, Linda, Winnie, Amelia, Justin, Cassidy, Victor, Ryan, Cindy and Joshua. Great grandfather of Phillip.
Funeral arrangements are being made at All Saints Cathedral from 5pm daily and at his Gitundu home. A funeral service will be held at PCEA Othaya Town Church on Friday 1st September 2017 followed by burial on the same day at his home in Gitundu, Othaya.
May God Almighty rest his soul in eternal peace.
A great man he truly was. May the Heavenly angels receive dad’s soul in eternal grace.
A great man you were, You touched our family, you stood with us when dad went to be with the Lord.
