Gervase Tarichia Mugambi

10th Anniversary

23rd january 1947 – 21 august 2007

We celebrate the life of our beloved Gervase Tarichia Mugambi, husband of Charity Makena and loving father to Mona, Sharon, Christina and Nuru.
Father-in-law to Joseph Muriuki and Teddy Mitchener. Grandfather to Mwenda Muriuki, Lailah Mugambi, Mateo and Takoda Mitchener.

Mugambi was the first born son of the late Cyprian Tarichia Thiringi and the late Sabina Thiringi. He was the loving bother to Kiruja Tarichia, Joseph Tarichia, Charles Tarichia (late), Lawrence Tarichia (late), Michelle Mathiu, Nancy Aburuki, Bome Vittone, Agatha Kimbui, Mary Tarichia (late), and Victoria Tarichia.

Brother-in- law to Eliud Mathiu, Benjamin Aburuki, Giorgio Vittone, David Kimbui, Eunice Kiruja (late), Cathy Kinyanga, Damaris lthalii, Alex Kaminchia and Jane Muthoni.

He is fondly remembered by his many relatives, nieces and nephews.

A prolific strategist and award-winning marketing executive at several multinational companies, he was an active member of the community of Mikinduri, Meru where he helped found St. Cyprian Church and supported many families.

We honour all the family and friends who supported us in his last days as he struggled with diabetes. We especially pay tribute to his good friend Charles Nyiruu.

Family and friends will meet for Mass on Saturday, 2nd September 2017 at 8:45 am at Consolata Shrine, Westlands, Nairobi. The Tarichia Family will announce on a later date a special memorial in Meru for all family members we have lost over the years.
