Gideon Mutuku & Ruth Wambua

It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Gideon Mbatha and Ruth Wambua, who passed away in a tragic road accident in California, USA on March 19thi 2023.

Gideon and Ruth were the beloved parents to Nathaniel (12), Immanuel (8), and Naomi (3).

Gideon was the son to Rev. Onesmus Mutuku and Pastor Anna Mutuku, founders of Sound the Trumpet of Rapture Ministries. He was also a brother to Horelia Kuria, Evelyne Nyamahi, Benjamin Mutuku, Solomon Mutuku, and Samuel Mutua.

Ruth was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald and Florence Makau from Athi River and a sister to Daniel (Mak), Becky, June and Sarah Wambua. Ruth was a niece to Florence Mwangangi former speaker Machakos County, George and many others.

Funeral arrangements are underway, and a memorial service and fundraiser will be held on April 5th. 2023 at St. Andrews from 2:00pm to support and condole with the family.
