Gladys Naini Maingi

1950 – 2023

It is with heavy hearts we accept God’s will and announce the passing onto glory of our beloved Matriach, Gladys Naini Maingi, which occurred on 3rd April, 2023.

Loving wife to Domiciano Laikuru Maingi. Mother to Lemmy & Muthoni, josephat & Leah, Nkirote & Roy, Gacheri & James, Joshua & Sally. Special Mum to Patrick, Kagwiria, Jerusha, Kangai, Brenda, Willicister and Mutabari. Grandmother to Nkatha, Shiku, Mwakiuna, Mwendwa, Ryan, Lakiesha, Nyawira, Maina, Mwara, Naini, Nathan,Wamaitha and Emanuel.

Daughter to the late M’Lintari Takuabi, the late Ciakajau M’Lintari and Ciambirithi. Daughter-in-law to the late Baptism M’Laikuru M’Igweta and the late Jacinta Ciomwambi M’Laikuru.

Sister to the late Jerusha Ntuti & Henry M’Ithiria, the late M’Mwiragua M’Lintari & Ciabaibaya and Mwontune M’Mwiragua, the late M’Ikiao M’Lintari & Karuki M’IKiao, the late Priscilla Mwonkari & Joseph M’Chokera and the late David Taati M’Lintari & Joyce Tatu Taati.

Sister-in-law to Angela & Lawrence, Silvio & Sabina, Nunzia & the late Marete, Pierra & Gathigi, the late Silas Baariu, Kala (Caroline), Consolata, and Mbaabu & Agatha. Adored Mum, Aunty, Grandmother, and Great-grandmother to many.

Family and Friends are meeting at The Allamano Centre, Sunday School Hall, Consolata Shrine, Westlands on Thursday 6th April 2023 and Tuesday 11th April 2023 at 5.30pm for
funeral arrangements.

There will be a celebration Mass at Home in Kikuyu Kidfarmco at 3.00pm on Sunday 9th April, 2023.
