Gladys Njeri Mwangi

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gladys Njeri Mwangi, who departed from us on the 25th of August 2023..

She was the cherished daughter of the late Japheth Mwangi and Virginia Nyaikamba. Gladys was the beloved wife of the late R.E.P Mwangi, and a loving mother to Dr. Ivy Wambui & Ted Duncan, Mark Mwangi & Minnie Wanjira Kibore, and Timothy Mwangi & Charlene VVangui. She held a special place in her heart for her grandchildren: Njeri, Emmanuel, and Isaiah.

Preparations for the funeral will commence at her rural home in Ndumberi, Kiambu, starting at 4:00pm on the 2nd of September 2023.

In honor of her memory the viewing will be conducted at Umash Funeral Home in Nairobi on Friday, 8th September 2023 from 7:00 to 9:00am.

A solemn farewell will be held at Citam Church Valley Road at 9:30am. Her final resting place will be in Ndumberi, Kiambu, where she will be laid to rest at 1:30pm.

In this time of mourning, we remember the life she lived, the love she shared, and the indelible mark she left on our hearts. May her soul find eternal peace.
