Glory Nkatha Kamau

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will, that we announce the death of Glory Nkatha Kamau (Ministry of Education), which occurred on 12th July, 2023 after short illness.

Daughter to Phineas Kaburu and Irene Mukwanyaga. Daughter-in-law to the late Benson Wainaina and Peninah Muthoni of Kiarutara, Gatanga.

Loving wife to Joseph Kamau Wainaina (Eastleigh High School). Mother to Collins Wainaina (KCA University) and Candy Muthoni (Alliance Girls High School).

Sister to Sophie Kaimuri (USA), Jadeline Njeri (Australia), Eric Mutwiri and Palmer Kinyua.

Granddaughter to Mercy Muga and the late Muga of Mbogori, Tharaka Nithi.

Sister-in-law to James Gitau, Sphilla Wambui, Nancy Wanjiru, Margaret Wanjiru, Hannah Mwahaki, Beth Wanjiru, Paul Njoroge, Mary Njeri and the late Patrick Kamau.

Prayer and burial preparations are being held at her home in Kahawa Sukari.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Friday 21st July, 2023 at 8.30am for a church service, thereafter interment will be held at Gatakaini Village, Gatanga, Muranga County.
