Godfrey Njogu Gachura

With great sadness following an illness bravely borne with strength and dignity. We announce the passing of Godfrey Njogu Gachura on Thursday 23rd June 2022.

He was son of the late Gachura Mbuuri and late Charity Njeri Gachura. Godfrey was a dear husband to Hannah Wanjiru Njogu and an exceptional father to Fidelis Njambi, Nicholas Gachura the late Antony Mwaura, Edwin Mbuuri, James Kamau, Charity Njeri, and Margaret Njoki. He was father-in-law to JanetWanjira, Carolyne Wanjiru, Felix Muoki and David Nderitu.

Brother to the late Geoffrey Mbuuri Gachura, Solomon Mbugua Gachura, the late Samuel Kimani,Tabitha Wairimu Wamae and Margaret Njoki Njuguna. A loving cousin, uncle, and grandfather to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers at his home in Gitombo village, Komothai location, Kiambu County at 4:00p.m.

The cortege leaves K.U. Referral Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday 05th July 2022 at 7:30a.m. Funeral service will be held at his Gitombo residence at 11:00a.m.
