It is with profound sorrow, but with humble acceptance to God, that we announce the promotion to glory of our Sister-in-Christ Grace Gathoni Mugi that occurred on 20th November, 2022 at her home Kanyekine, Kagio, Kirinyaga county.

Daughter to the late Kanethe and the late Wanjiru. Daughter-in-law to the late Kamweti and the late Wanjiru.

Loving wife to the late James Mugi. Mother to Margret Wanjiru, Lt. Colonel (RTD) Peter Kamweti, the late Jecinta Nyambura, Beth Wamuguru, Harry Kanethe, Ruth Wambui and John Macharia. Mother-in-law to Waiganjo,Wambui, Mjomba, Maina,Wangui, Susan and Sarah.

Grandmother to Njoki Waiganjo, George Kihara, Grace Kamweti, James Kamweti, Jean Kamweti,Tracy Kamweti, Grace Mjomba, Dennis Mjomba, the late Night Mjomba, Beatrice Mjomba, Grace Mukiri, Jane Wanjiru, Nyambura Nyaga, Wambui Thuita, Grace Njenga, Margret Njenga, Maureen Mwangi, James Mwangi, Brian Macharia, Jayden Macharia,Tamika Macharia and Tamara Macharia.

Sister to the late Kinyanjui and the late Mukono.

She was cousin to The Kaurrai family of Kiserian,Ol Kejuado County.

Family, friends and relatives are meeting daily at her residence in Kanyekine at 5.00pm.

The cortege leaves Mount Kenya ACK Hospital, Kerugoya, on Thursday, 1st December, 2022 at 9.00am to her final resting place at her home in Kanyekine, Kagio, Kirinyaga County.
