Grace Kabura Mwangi (Wa-Kibaru)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our beloved mum Grace Kabura Mwangi (Wa-Kibaru) after a long illness.

Loving wife to Cyrus Mwangi Simba.

Daughter to the late Jediel Kibaru and the late Gladys Wangari.

Mother to Jane Caroline Wanjiku & Njunge Kamau, Arthur Maina, Emma Wangari & Dr. Kamau, Susan Muthoni and Jadiel Kibaru & Charity Muthoni.

Sister to the late Uimbia, Githu, Lydia Wairimu Ndegwa and Mbuu Kibaru. Sister- in-law to the late Susan Muthoni, the late Wilson Wanjohi, the late Agnes Mbaire, the late Haitha Murugi, Peter Kimari, the late Beth Wachera, the late Geoffrey Kimaru,Virginia Wanjiru, Joseph Kangeu. Frachia Wambui. Step sister, Aunt and cousin to many.

Grandmother to Kelvin, Njunge, Margaret, Cyrus, Shilah, Joy, Ivy, Stacy, Nicole, Alvin, and Ryan. Great grandmother to baby Andrea.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Emma and Dr. Kamau’s Residence, Muthaiga North from 5.30pm until Wednesday, 10th May, 2023.

The cortege leaves Motenzuma Funeral Home, Kabati on Friday, 12th May 2023 at 8.15am. Prayers and burial service will be held at St. Michael Gathukeini and thereafter her body will be laid to rest at Gathukeini, Gatare Village, Murang’a County.
