Grace Kadenyi Vulule

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our beloved matriarch, Grace Kadenyi Vulule, which occurred on 28th August 2022.

Daughter of the late Jason Mahanda and the late Doris Imali. Beloved wife to the late Boaz Sindani Vulule. Sister to the late Otiende, the late Esther, Julia, Mugasia and Judy. Sister-in-law to the late Peter, the late Julius, the late Irene, the late Samson, the late Esther, Zadock Vulule and Margaret Kayundi among others.

Devoted mother to the late Mary Mideva, Rosslyn Kulohoma, Josephine Vulule, the late John Kennedy Mudegu, Doris Otieno, David Vulule, Beatrice Afwandi, Abigael Kahendi. Adopted mother to the late Doris Imali, Alex Vulule and Alfred Misheba.

Loving mother-in-law to Charles Kulohoma (KRC), the late Henry Akkendi, Elizabeth Mudegu (La Destinee Holdings Ltd) and Kevin Amimo (KPC).

Grandmother to Brian Akkendi, Benard and Colette Wesonga, Barbara Kulohoma, Rita Akkendi, Hedaya and Patrick Ndago, Daisy Kadenyi, Grace Saddi, Ellis Sindani, John Kulohoma, Leslie Bella, Antony Akkendi, Victor Ogola, Ingrid Atieno, Lorna Affwandi, Abigael Chavalegi, Gad Amimo, Loise Imali and Brianna Kadenyi, among others. Great-grandmother to Natalie, Mathew, Jude, Norah, Salama Maria, Amani, Ezra, Terrence, Conrad among others.

There will be a harambee to meet funeral expenses at Imara Daima, Grevilia Court on Sunday, 4th September, 2022 at 2.00pm.

A requiem mass will be held on the Wednesday, 7th September, 2022 at The Holy Family Basilica from 2.00pm.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home on Friday, 9th September, 2022 at 6.30am for her home in Nadanya village, Vihiga County. Holy mass will be held on Saturday, 10th September, 2022 and thereafter burial will take place at her family home.

Then shall the dust [out of which God made man’s body] return to the earth as it was, and the spirit shall return to God Who gave it. (Ecclesiastes 12:7)
