Grace Lornah Owitti-Alusa

It is with great sorrow that we announce the demise of Grace Lornah Owitti Alusa, who passed away on Friday 23rd June, 2023 in India after battling cancer. She worked in multiple places such as: KBC, Ministry of Gender and Sports, Ministry of Mining and Petroleum, Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Planning, Dept, of MED., among others.

She was the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs. Walter Owitti Were, Monica Owiti, late Perris Agola and the late
Elude Owitti.

Wife of the late Solomon Setetse Alusa. Mother of Cynthia, Maureen, Invyolata, Shem, Stephen and Sandra.

Sister to the late Doreen Achoki, Bob, Richard, Moses and Jane, Benson, Morris, Phillgona, Mary, Julie, Leah, Nelly, Akinyi, Eunice and Rose.

Sister-in-law to the late Abner Achoki, Susan, the late Jimmy, John, the late Silas, Betty, Grace, George, Janet, and Benson.

There will be a fundraising Meeting today, Tuesday, 4th July, 2023 at the All Saints Cathedral starting at 4.00pm.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, 6th July, 2023 at the Friends International Centre Ngong Road from 12 noon.

Burial will take place on Saturday, 8th July, 2023 in Iburimbuli Village, Kakamega County.

Daily Meetings are taking place at her home in Syokimau from 5.00pm.
