Appreciation

We, the family of the late Mama Grace Nyambura Gatimu wish to extend our sincere gratitude to all who stood with us during her illness, funeral preparations and interment.

Special thanks go to the Seventh Day Adventist East Kenya Union Conference for their unswerving and consistent pension and medical support during Mama Grace’s life, illness and final send-off. We acknowledge with gratitude the pastoral and spiritual support that the SDA Church and other church denominations provided throughout our bereavement. We appreciate these congregations found time to fellowship, pray and condole with us. We were humbled by the kindness and generosity of many family members, neighbours, friends and institutions who contributed financially, gave time and particularly to those who donated blood and platelets unreservedly.

Exceptional thanks go to the doctors and nursing staff of the Better Living Hospital, MP Shah Hospital and Aminika Medical Services for the good medical, nursing and home care services provided. We single out Dr Gladwell Kiarie, Dr Naveed Merali and Dr Lyal for their individual and collective treatment during our Mum’s illness. We acknowledge and appreciate the devoted work of the funeral organising committee who gave their time and resources towards a befitting burial.

To all those who visited us, made calls, sent words of comfort, and the online viewers who streamed during the memorial service and final send-off we acknowledge your love and warm support.
