Grace Waeni Makau

 Born: 09/03/53 – Crossed over: 02/09/19

We are saddened to announce the passing of Grace Waeni Makau, which occurred on 2nd of September 2019, at her home in Mwala, Machakos.

She leaves behind her husband Thomas Makau Musyoki and children Anne Muthue Makau, Martin Mutisya Makau and Diana Mumbua Makau and a grandson Reece Muema Mutisya. Her parents were the late William Mutungi Muange and the late Esther Wausi Mutungi. She was the sister to the late Phillip Mutungi, the late Joe Mutungi, Rhoda Kioko, the late Nick Mutungi, the late Mary Mutungi, Judah Mutungi, Laban Mutungi, Dorcas Senga and Paul Mutungi. She was a sister in law to Agnes Mutungi, Monica Mutungi, the late Joe Kioko, Jane Mutungi, Christine Mutungi, Robert Senga, Harriet Mutungi, the late Tim Musyoki, Julius Mutinda, Rebecca Mutungi, Agnes Mutungi, the late Jackson Mwanthi, Justus Muthama, the late George Mutisya, Mary Musyoki, Regina Howell and Rose Mutiso among others. She was a mother in law to Jacinta Muthoni Mutisya. She was a cousin, aunt and friend to many.

Family and friends will be meeting at the Nairobi Baptist Church, Ngong road for funeral arrangements and fundraising on Tuesday 10th Sept 2019 and Wednesday the 11th Sept 2019 from 5.30pm. You can also make your contribution through Pay Bill number no: 931520.

A memorial service will be held at the Nairobi Baptist Church, Ngong Road on 13th September 2019 at 10:00am.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home, Machakos on 14th September 2019 at 9.00am for funeral service at 12noon and burial at her farm in Kyawango, Machakos.
