It’s with humble acceptance that we announce the demise of our beloved mum, Grace Wangui Muchemi on May 16th 2017 while undergoing treatment at Metropolitan hospital. Beloved wife of Michael Muchemi Kariamburi of Ihururu. Mother of Moses Mbau-Maziwa, Alice Wachera-Mt.Kenya Hospital, Monicah Muthoni-SoS, Samuel Kagumba-icipe, Stephen Nderitu-JKIA, Leah Wangechi-Oljabet hospital and Florence Muringi-Shelter children’s home. Mother-in-law of Eunice (KIST), Leah (Dyer&Blair) and Faith (Farmtrack). Sister of Flora Muringi, late Damaris Wakiuru, Mumbi and Eunice Nyaguthii. Step-sister of Wanyiri, Nderitu, late Wangui, the late Waniiku,Wanjiru, Njeri and Willy. Sister-in-law of Murugi, late Ndumia, Nyaguthii and sons and daughters of the bigger family of the late Alexander Kariamburi. Grandmother of Michael-Farmtrack, Emu-GSU, Jose-GSU training, Kui-candrgroup B.PO Centre, Maitha-JKUAT, Michael, Cedi, Shadi,Trisha, Baby Wangui and many more. She was an aunt of many. Friends and family are meeting during week days up to Wednesday at Holy Family Basilica, Cardinal Otunga Hall from 5-8 pm and daily at her home in lhururu. The cortege leaves Consolata Mission Hospital on Thursday 25th May 2017 for a funeral service Ihururu PCEA parish at 11.00 am followed by burial at her home in Ihururu.
