Wife of the late Mutua Gathecha. Mother of the late Charity Njoki, Gathecha Mutua (USA), FlorenceWarukira Mubia (Muflowa Enterprises), Rose Makara (Othaya), E therWan’gu Kabiru (Nbi), Serah Wambui Njuguna (Nbi), Winnie Wanjiku Gitonga (Lang’ata). Sister of Beatrice Wangu Mugai, Step sister of the late Ndegwa Mugai and the late Macharia Mugai. Grandmother of Grace Wanjiru Muchaidacqueline Gathecha, Mutua, Mugai, Nduta, Murugu Wainoga, Gitonga, Olivia among others. Mother-in-law of Judy Gathecha, Julius Makara, Joseph Kabiru, Peter Njuguna and Samuel Gitonga.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily in Norwich Union Floor from 5.00pm. The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary on 5/8/2017 at 7.00 am for funeral serviice at Gatugi PCEA Church Othaya, followed by burial at her home.
